Established in 2021, Polar Bear Music Club is an independent 200 capacity music club and multi-use events venue. Situated in the historic Polar Bear, a grade 2 listed building, Polar Bear Mucis Club is a Community Interest Company owned and operated by a small team of dedicated part time workers.
We aim to provide an affordable and inclusive space for people to come together and share passions and ideas and to have a great time!!
TRAVEL
The venue has no on-site parking facilities due to its location.
Across from the venue is street parking and there are two small paid car parks on Princes avenue, a short walk from the venue. Alternatively there is paid parking close to the train and bus station, which is about a 15 minute walk away.
The train and bus station is about a 18 minute walk away from the venue, additionally there are bus stops located just down the street. Please check the current bus time tables for more information.

ACCESSIBILITY
The events space is located on the ground floor, with a small step into the building. We also have a fold out portable ramp on site, available on request. If you require assistance when entering the venue you can either inform our staff upon arrival or alternatively email:

Most of our events ar standing but we can provide limited seating upon request. If you have any additional access requirements please email us at the address above, so we can endeavour to accommodate.
We do not have an accessible WC, the closest accessible WC to the venue is located at Zoological, about 2 minutes away, on the corner of Spring Bank and Princes Avenue.
For visitors with additional needs, who require support to attend the gig, we can offer an essential companion ticket. Please email in advance at our info email address listed above, to arrange this and to see where we can help, if possible.
Warning due to the nature of the venue's events, lights are used during performances and club nights, be aware when attending for those with epilepsy or a history of seizures.

We are a Challenge 25 venue, so bring ID as you could be refused entry without it.
