a message from Dervla’s Friends:

“On the 25th August 2025, our beautifully vibrant friend, Dervla, sadly passed away.

Dervla was the heartbeat of everything she was involved in, and her fiery compassion is dearly missed by her friends and family.

Dervla is buried in York Cemetery, however, she has no headstone for her loved ones to leave tributes, or a mural dedicated to the truly wonderful person she was.

With that in mind, her closest friends, and Rookie Numbers, are putting on a fundraiser for a headstone on the 7th August 2026.

Disco For Dervla will take place at Polar Bear, Hull, one of Dervla’s favourite venues in her hometown, and everyone is welcome to come and celebrate her life.

The event will be pay as you feel, and a GoFundMe has been set-up in order to raise as much money for our dear Dervla.
