➳ THEATRE
Having recently toured with post-punk outfit Gurriers, there’s very little, if anything, known about Limerick band Theatre, who seem to be moving in the shadows of Ireland’s explosive music scene. Blending ethereal rock music with folk and shoegaze, the music is understated yet feels timeless, and their songs seem to enter your body, trance-like, and never leave. Despite the spotlight shining so heavily on Irish music at the moment, with nothing out and very little online presence, it seems the ones that let their music do the talking have the loudest voice.

➳ DBA!
Formed in Liverpool in early 2024, DBA! have emerged as an urgent guitar band noted for their unique chemistry & influences such as Eels, Beck, and Elastica. Their first single, ‘sinkorswim’, has become a standout in the UK indie circuit, drawing attention from national radio stations. The track received strong support on BBC Radio 6 Music, where it scored an impressive 8/10 on Huw Stephen’s Roundtable where the panel had high praise, such as ‘definitely walking out of here with a new favourite band’ – Abbie McCarthy.

➳ BROSNAN
Brosnan are Hull’s most up-beat three-piece guitar band. Eclectic indie music from Pulp and The Stone Roses to Snail Mail informs their second-hand pop sound. The band cut their teeth gigging around the country, supporting the likes of IDLES and Gengahr. Singles ‘Is This Thing On?’ and ‘Octopus’ gained support from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. ‘Being Alone’ was part of the Three Minute Heroes album, a project where bands put music to words that children and young people have written about mental health and was featured on the internationally broadcast tv show BBC Click.
